Cannabis Withdrawal

After 6 days without cannabis experienced withdrawal symptoms similar to those associated with nicotine use. Heart pounding, tenseness in muscles (particularly in upper back) & irritation. Felt like an 'attack' lasted approx 45 minutes.

Have smoked cannabis (4-6 grams p/w) on and off for 18 years. Have experienced withdrawal symptoms such as this when abstaining over the past 3 years.

Generally, when I discontinue usage I can expect to have to deal with 2-3 of these cravings/attacks while my body adjusts to sobriety. I expect them to come within 3-5 days of discontinuing use.

Just like a 'nic-fit' but not so frequent.
